# General Settings

> Set your marketplace identity — site name, tagline, logo, favicon, contact email, phone, address, footer text, and social profile links.

**Settings → General** contains the foundational identity of your marketplace — the fields that appear in the browser tab, the site header, footer, and search results.

## Identity

| Field         | Purpose                                                                                     |
| ------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Site Name** | Your marketplace name. Used in the browser tab title and SEO metadata.                      |
| **Tagline**   | Short one-liner shown in the site header or hero section depending on your template.        |
| **Logo**      | Uploaded image used in the site header. SVG or PNG with transparent background recommended. |
| **Favicon**   | Small icon shown in the browser tab and bookmarks. PNG or ICO, ideally 32×32 or 64×64 px.   |

## Contact

| Field             | Purpose                                                                                                                                           |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Contact Email** | Shown on the site for general inquiries. Not the same as the notification email in [Notification Settings](/configuration/notification-settings). |
| **Phone**         | Optional. Shown if your template includes a contact section.                                                                                      |
| **Address**       | Optional. Shown in the footer if set.                                                                                                             |

## Footer

| Field              | Purpose                                                                                                                                                   |
| ------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Footer Text**    | Rich text block shown in the upper footer area. Good for a brief about statement or newsletter description.                                               |
| **Copyright Text** | Shown in the bottom bar of the footer. The current year and your site name are prepended automatically — just add the suffix, e.g. `All rights reserved.` |

## Social Links

Add links to your social profiles — Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Telegram, and others. Each entry is a platform + URL pair. Enabled platforms are displayed as icon links in the site footer.

Supported platforms: Twitter/X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Telegram, GitHub, Other.
