Required fields

Only Domain Name is required. Everything else is optional — you can publish a domain with just a name and fill in content later. Enter the domain exactly as it should appear in the URL: sell.beer, holdbuy.com, nova.ai. Lowercase. No www.

RDAP auto-fill

When you save a new domain name for the first time, the platform fetches registration data automatically via RDAP:
  • Registrar
  • Registration date
  • Expiry date
  • Name servers
  • Transfer type (derived from registration age — domains registered less than 60 days ago are flagged as potentially locked)
This runs silently in the background and doesn’t block saving. Check the RDAP status indicator in the sidebar to see if the fetch succeeded. If a domain’s TLD isn’t covered by RDAP (some ccTLDs), the fields stay empty — fill them in manually. To re-fetch, uncheck RDAP Data Fetched in the Technical Data section and save.

Generating content with AI

Once the domain is saved, the AI generation buttons appear in the sidebar:
  • Generate All — runs all content fields in one pass: emoji, tagline, short description, description, curator insight, categories, tags, use cases, perfect match, and brand color
  • Generate SEO — generates the SEO title and description separately
  • Individual buttons next to each field — regenerate just that field
AI generation never saves automatically. After generation, review the result in each field and click Save to apply.
AI generation requires a provider and API key configured in Settings → AI. If the AI is disabled or unconfigured, the generate buttons are hidden.

Setting the sale model

Before publishing, set the Sale Model in the Pricing & Sale Terms section. The default is Make an Offer. See Sale Models for how each option affects what buyers see. If you set a price, also consider setting a Minimum Offer Price — the floor below which offers won’t be submitted. Buyers never see this value.

Publishing

The domain page goes live as soon as the record is saved with Status: Available. There is no separate publish toggle — available domains are always public. To take a domain off the market temporarily, change the status to any value other than Available. The page still exists but shows the sold/pending state depending on your SEO Settings.

Organizing your catalog

For the domain to appear on a category page, assign a Primary Category. Without a category, the domain still appears in the main inventory and on the homepage grid, but not on any /categories/{slug} page. Add Tags to make the domain discoverable through the inventory filter bar. Tags are free-form — use whatever labels make sense for your portfolio. See Tags. Toggle marketplace checkboxes (Afternic, Sedo, Atom, SAW) in the sidebar to show the corresponding marketplace links on the domain page. Add custom marketplace links if the domain is listed elsewhere. Check Is Featured in the sidebar to include the domain in Featured-mode blocks on the homepage and other pages. Use this for your highest-priority listings.
